  • Publication number: 20210307970
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to assembling elastic laminates that may be used to make absorbent article components. Methods herein may include an anvil adapted to rotate about an axis of rotation, wherein first and second spreader mechanisms adjacent the anvil roll are axially and angularly displaced from each other with respect to the axis of rotation. During the assembly process, a substrate may be advanced in a machine direction onto the rotating anvil. The first spreader mechanism stretches a first elastic material in the cross direction, and the second spreader mechanism stretches a second elastic material in the cross direction. The stretched first and second elastic materials advance from the spreader mechanisms and onto the substrate on the anvil roll. The combined and elastic materials may then be ultrasonically bonded together on the anvil to form at least one elastic laminate.

  • Publication number: 20210312441
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for context-based verification flows for digital identity verification. A context-based verification system provides flexible identification procedures for various enterprises that adapted to the enterprises' services, the enterprises' customers, and these customers' needs. For example, the context-based verification system determines a first and second verification flows associated with a first enterprise and a third verification flow associated with a second enterprise. These verification flows include context parameters and verification parameters. The context-based verification system determines context parameters of a request, or “request context parameters,” when a user requests to interact with the first enterprise and determines a verification flow associated with context parameters that substantially match these request context parameters.

  • Publication number: 20210309709
Abstract: The present disclosure provides recombinantly manufactured ultra-long acting insulin-Fc fusion proteins for use in treating diabetes. The insulin-Fc fusion proteins comprise an insulin polypeptide linked via a peptide linker to an Fc-fragment of human origin. Based on the results obtained, creating a treatment that is amenable to low cost manufacturing, exhibits sufficient in vivo bioactivity, displays extended duration of bioactivity, and does not exhibit immunogenicity requires a non-obvious combination of insulin polypeptide, peptide linkers, and Fc fragment, in addition to selective mutations on one or more of these components. Exemplary ultra-long acting insulin-Fc fusion proteins, polynucleotides encoding these insulin-Fc fusion proteins, and pharmaceutical formulations of exemplary insulin-Fc fusion proteins are provided, in addition to methods of use and preparation.
