  • Publication number: 20210007783
Abstract: A system for restricting spinal flexion includes a compliance member having a body and an elongation limit. The body typically comprises a spring or other tension element which provides elastic constraint to the spinal segment when the compliance member is attached to the spinous processes. The elongation limit prevents overextension of the compliance member, thus reducing the likelihood that the patient will experience over flexion of the spinal segment and reducing the risk of placing excessive mechanical load on the compliance member.

  • Publication number: 20210007902
Abstract: An absorbent article can have a topsheet layer, a liquid impermeable layer, and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet layer and the liquid impermeable layer. The absorbent article can further include an exudate management layer in fluid communication with the topsheet layer. In various embodiments, the exudate management layer can be positioned on a body facing surface of the topsheet layer. In various embodiments, the exudate management layer can be positioned between the topsheet layer and the absorbent core. The exudate management layer has a first component which defines an opening for direct passage of body exudates into the absorbent core. The exudate management layer has a second component which at least partially overlaps the first component of the exudate management layer and further extends in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article in a direction towards the posterior region of the absorbent article.

  • Publication number: 20210008937
Abstract: A cover assembly for a hitch assembly includes a cover and a cover lock assembly. The cover is coupled to the body component for movement between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the cover permits access to a hitch lock assembly configured to secure a hitch to a hitch receiver and in the closed position, the cover inhibits access to the hitch lock assembly. The cover lock assembly is configured to releasably secure the cover to the hitch receiver when the cover is in the closed position. The cover lock assembly includes a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. In the locked configuration, the cover is inhibited from moving from the closed position to the open position. In the unlocked configuration, the cover is permitted to move from the closed position to the open position.

  • Publication number: 20210014170
Abstract: Systems and techniques, including special messages and state machines, are described that configures an intermediate site to dynamically trigger creation of and removal of a dynamic conduit between two sites based on usage that is tracked at the sites. The intermediate site providing WAN-to-WAN forwarding between the two sites, monitors throughput statistics on each local WAN link (LWL) associated with the two sites. If traffic between the two sites passes a configured first threshold or if LWL usage passes a configured second threshold, the intermediate site sends a message to the two sites to set up a dynamic conduit directly coupling the two sites. Busy lists are used to keep track of eligible site pairs. Once a dynamic conduit is set up between two sites, a grow technique tests the dynamic conduit increasing communication flows between the two sites each configured sampling period before putting the conduit in normal use.

  • Publication number: 20210008351
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to vascular devices such as guidewires and microcatheters having integrated coil sections for optimizing torquability, flexibility, and ability to shape and maintain the distal tip. A guidewire device includes a core and a tube structure coupled to the core such that at least a portion of the core passes into the tube structure. A distal section of the tube structure includes a spiral cut arrangement that configures the distal section as an integral coil integrally incorporated as part of the tube structure. The integrated coil configuration increases the flexibility of the tube structure to reduce the tendency of resilient forces from the tube structure to disrupt a shaped distal tip of the guidewire device.

  • Patent number: 10888801
Abstract: A separation tank for separating a contaminant from a multiple-phase fluid stream has a vessel formed by a top wall, a bottom wall, and a sidewall. The vessel has a plurality of nested and fluidly connected chambers therein. A fluid inlet is in fluid communication with the outermost chamber of the vessel for introducing the multiple-phase fluid stream thereinto. A fluid outlet is in fluid communication with the innermost chamber of the vessel for discharging a contaminant-removed fluid stream out of the vessel. At least one chamber of the vessel has one or more gas inlets at a lower portion thereof for injecting gas bubbles into the chamber for facilitating contaminant removal. In operation, the fluid stream travels from the fluid inlet through the plurality of chambers to the fluid outlet along an elongated helical spiral flow path.
