  • Patent number: 9147604
Abstract: A memory process is described. A substrate is provided, having therein trenches and conductive lines buried in the trenches and having thereon an array area, wherein each of the conductive lines has an array portion in the array area. A contact area apart from the array area is defined on the substrate, wherein each of the conductive lines has a contact portion in the contact area. The substrate between the contact portions of the conductive lines is etched down to below the tops of the conductive layers to form gaps between the contact portions of the conductive lines. The gaps are then filled with an insulating layer.

  • Publication number: 20150271708
Abstract: Technology for using an open mobile alliance (OMA) management object (MO) for congestion control in mobile networks is described. A novel type of OMA MO for application specific access control (ASAC) can include internet protocol (IP) flow descriptions that can be used to characterize applications with fine granularity. Priorities can be assigned to IP flows based on the IP flow descriptions. A user equipment (UE) can receive such an OMA MO and also receive application-barring information regarding a congestion level in a mobile network with which an application at the UE wishes to connect. The UE can have a connectivity manager (CM) that determines whether to allow the application to establish a connection with the mobile network based on the priority level of the application's associated IP flow and the application-barring information.

  • Publication number: 20150262268
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of incremental computation of billing percentile values in a cloud based application acceleration as a service environment. In one aspect, a method includes sampling a usage data of a network entity of an application acceleration as a service provider in intervals of five minutes using a processor and a memory. A 95th percentile value is automatically calculated based on a next value in the billing cycle after the top 5% of samples in the billing cycle. The 95th percentile value of each of a plurality of billable units for each of billing measurements for a large scale data associated with the network entity is incrementally computed by computing the 95th percentile value upon a newest set of data arrived to the network entity in each five minute interval. A billing amount is determined based on an incremental computation.
