  • Publication number: 20230363949
Abstract: In an ophthalmic surgical laser system, a patient interface device for coupling a patient’s eye to the laser system includes a lens cone with a frustoconical shaped shell for coupling to the laser system and a suction ring for coupling to the patient’s eye, the lens cone and the suction ring being either joined together by clamping or formed integrally as one piece. A cap is provided for use with the lens cone as an installation aid. In the configuration supplied to the user, the lens cone is partially embedded in and snapped to the cap. The cap has a portion with a relatively large diameter and multiple ribs for easy handling. The user holds the cap to install the lens cone on the laser system, and pulls the cap to unsnap it from the lens cone. The lens cone is attached to the laser system with a bayonet mount.

  • Patent number: 11530891
Abstract: A firearm attachment may include a threaded adapter, and the threaded adapter may include a first threaded portion and a second threaded portion. The second threaded portion may include an inner threaded portion and an outer threaded portion. The firearm attachment may include a housing that may be configured to couple to the outer threaded portion. The firearm adapter may include a reverse baffle compensator that may be configured to couple to the inner threaded portion. The reverse baffle component may include a first baffle portion and a second baffle portion, and a channel may be disposed between a first narrow end of the first baffle portion and a second narrow end of the second baffle portion. The reverse baffle portion may include one or more holes on a sloped portion of the first baffle portion and one or more holes on a sloped portion of the second baffle portion.

  • Patent number: 8470107
Abstract: A non-toxic, non-hydroscopic percussion primer composition and methods of preparing the same, including at least one explosive component that has been traditionally considered a moderately insensitive explosive or secondary explosive, and at least fuel particle component having a particle size of about 1.5 microns to about 12 microns, which allows the use of moderately active metal oxidizers. The sensitivity of the primer composition is created by the interaction between the moderately insensitive explosive and the fuel agent such that traditional primary explosives such as lead styphnate or DDNP are not needed. The primer composition also eliminates the risks and dangers associated with traditional nano-sized fuel particles.
