Patent number: 11560983Abstract: A pressure regulator for controlling the flow of gas from a high pressure source to a low pressure device and regulating a pressure to the low pressure device includes a body having a high pressure inlet and a regulated pressure outlet. The body has a series of passages and bores including first and second regulator valve assembly bores and first and second fill valve assembly bores. The first and second regulator valve assembly bores are disposed on opposing sides of one of the passages and the first and second fill valve assembly bores are disposed on opposing sides of one of the passages. A regulator valve assembly includes a seal, a regulator valve piston, a biasing member and an adjusting plug positioned in the first regulator valve assembly bore, and a seal, a seat, a ball, a spring and a plug positioned in the second regulator valve assembly.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 2021Date of Patent: January 24, 2023Assignee: Pressure Specialist, Inc.Inventors: Raymond Trimble, Scot W. Tillman, Aaron A. Stephens

Patent number: 11085585Abstract: A fill station permits transferring a gas, such as a compressed gas from a second device to a first device. The fill station includes a body having an inlet, an inlet/outlet port and an outlet. The body has a passage extending between the inlet, the inlet/outlet port and the outlet. The passage includes a central passage portion. The body includes a bore therein in communication with the central passage portion. A valve assembly includes a seal, a seat, a ball and a biasing member mounted in the body at a first side of the central passage in communication with the inlet/outlet port and a seal, a seal support, and an actuator shaft positioned in the body on an opposite side of the central passage portion. Engagement of the actuator shaft with the ball moves the ball off of the seat to open flow communication from the inlet/outlet port to the outlet and disengagement of the actuator shaft from the ball moves the ball onto the seat to close flow communication from the inlet to the outlet.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2019Date of Patent: August 10, 2021Assignee: Pressure Specialist, Inc.Inventors: Raymond Trimble, Scot W. Publication number: 20140131151Abstract: Bicycle disc brake rotors of the present invention are lightweight, have relatively high coefficients of friction to maintain braking friction under heavy braking, and quickly shed heat. The parts may preferably be made from a compound having carbon fiber and/or a refractory material, such as ceramic filler, within a polycarbosilane polymer resin, the polymer resin having a silicon-oxygen polymer backbone, producing silicon oxycarbides upon pyrolysis. Methods of making and using the same are further provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2012Publication date: May 15, 2014Inventors: Joshua R. Gore, Aaron A. Stephens

Patent number: 7765999Abstract: An apparatus for firing a projectile, such as a paintball, that comprises a trigger frame assembly that is detachable from either a mechanical cartridge or an electronic cartridge. The trigger frame assembly includes a trigger, a sear, and a frame on which the trigger and the sear are mounted. The trigger has a mechanical actuating surface and an electronic actuating surface. Both the mechanical cartridge and the electronic cartridge are configured to selectively attach to and detach from the frame. It is an aspect of the invention to allow a user to selectively and readily convert the apparatus between mechanical firing actuation and electronic firing actuation.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2005Date of Patent: August 3, 2010Assignee: KEE Action Sports II LLCInventors: Aaron A.
