  • Publication number: 20220414470
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for leveraging temporal user behavior, such as web browsing history or social media interactions, to “predict” the occurrence and/or timing of one or more subsequent events. A multi-task architecture models temporal user-behavior with respect to single or multiple objectives and optimizes the neural network architecture and task-grouping to achieve the most accurate predictions. The deep attention-based uni-directional or bi-directional recurrent neural network (RNN) models that are part of the disclosed architecture can be used directly as an end-to-end prediction or inference system or can be used to generate learned representations of temporal data which can be extracted and used in a separate model or architecture.

  • Publication number: 20220398433
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementation of an inference or prediction process using a recurrent neural network (RNN) that is particularly advantageous for low-latency applications. Embodiments introduce an implementation of a recurrent neural network-based system which results in a fixed inference time (i.e., a constant computation time to perform an inference stage) that is independent of input data sequence length. Embodiments may be used to implement real-time data mapping and management and perform an inference strategy that enables the system to be used for serving different types of models, including sequential deep neural networks for low latency (i.e., real-time, or close to real-time) applications.

  • Patent number: 10317597
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward optics and imaging. As may be implemented with one or more embodiments, an apparatus includes one or more phase masks that operate with an objective lens and a microlens array to alter a phase characteristic of light travelling in a path from a specimen, through the objective lens and microlens array and to a photosensor array. Using this approach, the specimen can be imaged with spatial resolution characteristics provided via the altered phase characteristic, which can facilitate construction of an image with enhanced resolution.
