  • Publication number: 20190339848
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program product provide the ability to search for and interact with three-dimensional (3D) objects in a 3D model/drawing. Searches may be conducted on a per object basis (based on properties of the object) and search queries may be amended based on shared/common attributes between objects found in an initial search. Differences in search results can be identified and the causality may be used to perform additional searches. Search results may be listed in a list view and a correspondence between objects in the list view and the modeling view may be visibly discernible. Further, selection of a single object from a search result may focus the view on such an object while removing any occluding objects. Multiple selected objects can be viewed in an array of rotationally synchronized viewports.

  • Publication number: 20140040789
Abstract: An example device may present content within a user interface on a display screen. The user interface may support a tool that is controllable by a user to modify the content. Such a tool may be configurable to have various effects on the content. The tool may have a current configuration that specifies a current effect of the tool on the content presented in the user interface, and the current configuration may be distinct from a previous configuration that specifies a previous effect of the tool on the content. The device presents a first icon that indicates the current configuration of a tool and may present a second icon that indicates a previous configuration of the tool. The device may detect user input that indicates a request that the current configuration be replaced with the previous configuration. The device may configure the tool according to the previous configuration.

  • Publication number: 20130326342
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for providing scalability and morphing for transitions between states of a user interface are provided. In example embodiments, a request to transition from a departure state of a first page of the user interface to a destination state of a second page of the user interface is received. A plurality of elements and element attributes within the departure state and the destination state are identified. For each of the elements, a transition mechanism to be applied to an element to transition to the destination state is determined. The transition to the destination state is automatically generated by applying, for each of the elements, the determined transition mechanism.

  • Patent number: 8326835
Abstract: A method and system for presenting a dataset with context-sensitive pagination are described. The dataset is sorted and divided into subsets according to a first attribute, and the subsets are presented via a user interface, which contains a navigation control relating to the first attribute. When the dataset is sorted and divided according to a second attribute, the navigation control dynamically updates to relate to the second attribute. This allows a user to navigate pages of data in a manner consistent with chosen sorting criteria.
