  • Publication number: 20240151112
Abstract: A horizontal directional drilling system. The system has a pilot drill and an exit side drill, with a drill string extending between them. A backreamer is positioned between the drills to enlarge a borehole. The pilot drill pulls and rotates the backreamer. The exit side drill adds segments to the product pipe and pushes the product pipe into the enlarged borehole. The exit side drill is equipped with a rotational disconnect. The disconnect is engaged to allow torque transfer between a motor and a spindle when adding segments to the product pipe. The disconnect is disengaged to prevent torque transfer between the motor and the spindle when pushing the product pipe into the enlarged borehole.

  • Publication number: 20240137377
Abstract: Embodiments presented herein describe a method for processing streams of data of one or more networked computer systems. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, an ordered stream of normalized vectors corresponding to information security data obtained from one or more sensors monitoring a computer network is received. A neuro-linguistic model of the information security data is generated by clustering the ordered stream of vectors and assigning a letter to each cluster, outputting an ordered sequence of letters based on a mapping of the ordered stream of normalized vectors to the clusters, building a dictionary of words from of the ordered output of letters, outputting an ordered stream of words based on the ordered output of letters, and generating a plurality of phrases based on the ordered output of words.

  • Publication number: 20240068974
Abstract: A method for identifying damage in a component of a wind turbine includes placing a conductive element onto at least one surface of the component of the wind turbine. The method also includes electrically connecting the conductive element into an electrical circuit. Further, the method includes monitoring a status of the electrical circuit to identify the damage in the component. In particular, when the status of the electrical circuit is open, damage is likely present in the component, and when the status of the electrical circuit is closed, damage is unlikely present in the component. Moreover, the method includes transmitting the status of the electrical circuit to a user interface for display.

  • Publication number: 20230367699
Abstract: The technology described herein provides an automated software-testing platform that functions in an undefined action space. The technology described herein starts with an undefined action space but begins to learn about the action space through random exploration. Both the action taken during testing and the resulting state may be communicated to a centralized testing service. The technology described herein also mines the action telemetry data and state telemetry data to identify action patterns that produce a sought after result. Once a plurality of action patterns is identified and, at least, a partial model of the action space is built, the testing on the test machines may be split into random test mode, replay test mode, and a pioneering test mode.
