Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to antimicrobial gels. In particular, the present disclosure relates to an antimicrobial gel comprising a eutectic solvent and a gelling agent which can be used as a drug delivery vehicle for antimicrobial agents, including for the topical delivery of antimicrobial agents to the skin of a subject. The present disclosure also relates to processes for preparing the antimicrobial gel, and to methods, uses and compositions comprising the antimicrobial gel.
