  • Publication number: 20150245741
Abstract: A grill is disclosed comprising at least at least one removable tube for receiving a fuel gas (preferably Hydrogen or the gas generated by underwater arcing between two electrodes), the one or more tubes in having at least one aperture disposed within the at least one tube, gas delivery means for delivering the fuel gas to the tubes, a grate positioned above the at least one tube such that food supported on the grate is in direct contact with flames emanating from the at least one aperture when the fuel gas is lit. The grill preferably comprises a “grid” of flames emanating from a plurality of adjacent tubes, blanketing food when gas is supplied to the tubes and lit. The food itself is supported or held within the flames with a grate coupled a distance atop the tire tubes. A process is also disclosed for uniformly cooked, lower-fat, juicy steaks.

  • Patent number: 5412890
Abstract: An animation show presentation has a base turntable (15) rotatable about a base axis (30), and pedestal turntables (35, 36, 37) supported on the base turntable for independent rotation about separate pedestal axes (38, 39, 40). Animated characters (32, 33, 34) respectively mounted on the pedestal turntables have arm body part segments (59, 60, 61) whose hand ends can be extended and brought into juxtaposed positions proximate the base axis (30), under rotation of the pedestal turntables. Rotating the base turntable with the hand ends thus juxtaposed causes the characters to appear to be dancing about an optional pole (63) placed coincident with base axis (30).

  • Patent number: 5392564
Abstract: A skylight cover for relatively blocking transmission of light through a lens opening of a skylight structure takes the form of a modular unit (10, 110), configured to fit between standard ceiling joists (16, 17). The unit includes a movable panel (30, 130), panel tracks (33, 133), and a panel drive mechanism (40, 45, 48; 161, 162,164), all housed in a common, readily installable and serviceable framework (12, 112). In one embodiment (10), the drive mechanism is a cable air cylinder (40) having end brackets (48) attached by a slide-in mounting assembly (58) to a frame member 39, and having a U-shaped cable bracket (48) deposited over posts (51) on the panel (30). In another embodiment (110), the drive mechanism is a motor (161) having an output gear (162) meshed with a gear track (164) on the panel (130).
