Patent number: 10544860Abstract: A construction machine having a frame and at least one compaction member is provided. The machine also includes a propulsion system having a hydraulic motor adapted to rotate the compaction member. The propulsion system also includes a hydraulic pump fluidly coupled to the hydraulic motor via a high pressure line and a low pressure line. The high pressure line allows flow of a fluid at high pressure from the hydraulic pump to the hydraulic motor. The low pressure line allows flow of the fluid at low pressure from the hydraulic motor to the hydraulic pump. The propulsion system further includes a hydraulic valve fluidly coupled to the low pressure line and a casing of the hydraulic motor. The hydraulic valve selectively allows flow of a portion of the fluid at low pressure from the low pressure line to the casing for cooling of the hydraulic motor.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2017Date of Patent: January 28, 2020Assignee: Caterpillar Paving Products Inc.Inventors: Nicholas Aaron Greene, Derek Kenneth Huhn, Benjamin Thomas Schafer

Patent number: 10331509Abstract: A data processing stage is described which has a communications interface arranged to receive a plurality of input data chunks. Each input data chunk has a pointer to a validation record, where the validation records are stored at a memory accessible to the data processing stage. A processor of the data processing stage is configured to create an output validation record at the memory, and to link the output validation record to the validation records of the input chunks. The processor is configured to compute an output chunk from the input chunks in a manner which ignores data of the input chunks identified as invalid through inspection of the output validation record.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2017Date of Patent: June 25, 2019Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Sebastian Brillout, Fehmi Ben Haddou, Bertrand Freydier, Aaron Greene, Yannick Brombach

Patent number: 9235867Abstract: Various embodiments relating to managing media delivery are disclosed. In one embodiment, a first request is received from a first device associated with a first account to obtain a first media content item. The first request may include an identifier indicating that the first request is an automatic request or a manual request. Information for obtaining the first media content item is sent to the first device. A second request is received from a second device associated with the first account to obtain a second media content item. The second request may include an identifier indicating that the second request is a manual request. Information for obtaining the second media content item is sent to the second device, such that obtaining the first media content item on the first device temporally overlaps obtaining the second media content item on the second device.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2012Date of Patent: January 12, 2016Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Vincent Bellet, Manuel Millot, Damien Auroux, Aaron Greene

Patent number: 6505847Abstract: The present invention is directed to a suspension mechanism that is built into the rigid frame members of a vehicle such as a motorcycle to provide a softer ride while preserving the clean look of the rigid frame. The vehicle has a wheel mount for a wheel, a steering head for a steering handle, and a vehicle frame. The suspension mechanism comprises a lower frame member of the vehicle frame extending from the wheel mount, and an upper frame member of the vehicle frame extending from the wheel mount and being disposed above the lower frame member. An upper frame arm of the vehicle frame extends from the steering head and is movably coupled with the upper frame member at a location between the steering head and the wheel mount. The upper frame member is slidable relative to the upper frame arm along an upper arcuate path centered around a pivot axis disposed between the upper frame member and the lower frame member.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2001Date of Patent: January 14, 2003Assignee: Paramount Custom CyclesInventor: Aaron Greene
