  • Patent number: 11168181
Abstract: A method for the preparation of an alkoxy-functional hydrogensiloxane oligomer includes reacting a polyorganohydrogensiloxane oligomer and an aliphatically unsaturated alkoxysilane in the presence of a hydrosilylation reaction and a promoter. The resulting crude reaction product is treated with a treating agent, and thereafter distilled to produce the alkoxy-functional organohydrogensiloxane oligomer. The alkoxy-functional hydrogensiloxane oligomer can be reacted with polyorganosiloxane having an aliphatically unsaturated monovalent hydrocarbon group to form a polyalkoxy-functional polyorganosiloxane. The polyalkoxy-functional polyorganosiloxane can be formulated in condensation reaction curable compositions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 2, 2020
Date of Patent: November 9, 2021
    Assignee: Dow Silicones Corporation
Inventors: Xiaoyuan Zhou, Reza Haghpanah, Aaron Greiner, Eric Joffre, Sean Reisch, Christine Marchand
  • Patent number: 11161939

The resulting reaction product is distilled, treated with a treating agent, and distilled again to produce the alkoxy-functional organohydrogensiloxane oligomer.

  • Patent number: 10537853
Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed relate to methods of separating volatile compounds from a liquid feed mixture comprising an emulsion. In various embodiments, the method includes contacting a first side of a first membrane with a liquid feed mixture including an emulsion having a polymer, and at least one volatile compound. The method can also include contacting a second side of the first membrane with a sweep medium including at least one a sweep fluid to produce a permeate mixture on the second side of the first membrane and a retentate mixture on the first side of the first membrane, wherein the permeate mixture is enriched in the volatile compound, and the retentate mixture is depleted in the volatile compound.
