Abstract: Systems and methods for modular dwelling units that may be combined into a modular building. The modular dwelling units may be fluidly isolated from each other by a sealing system that prevents fluids from leaking into adjacent modular dwelling units, and a subfloor system that is tilted to drain fluids towards a conduit that leads away from the modular building. The modular dwelling units may include one or more sensors that generate signals based upon conditions within the modular dwelling unit and/or based on occupants of the modular dwelling unit. The modular dwelling units may include one or more processor-based devices that may generate an alarm and/or control one or more actuators or valves in response to the signals received from the sensors.

Abstract: Uploading digital assets from a source media directory into a web-based digital asset management system includes representing a structure of the source media directory, and the digital assets, as a XML object, and storing the XML object in a database. Based on the XML object, the source media directory structure and the digital assets can be displayed through a web-enabled user interface.

Abstract: Implementing a digital contact sheet generator includes receiving input parameters from a remotely located user to create a table. The table includes one or more table cells, each of which comprises a text cell and an image cell. The input parameters define an appearance of the contact sheet and the table. Each table cell is formatted by selecting an image from a set of source media and calculating a size of the image cell associated with the particular table cell. A location of the image cell within the particular table cell is then determined and the image is resized. The image cell is repositioned and the resized image is drawn in the image cell.

Abstract: Uploading high resolution or other digital assets includes searching a first directory in a web-enabled digital asset management system for one or more digital assets that have the same file name, but a different file extension or a different file type, as a corresponding digital asset in an external directory. A copy of the digital asset from the external directory is stored in a database with a link to the corresponding one or more digital assets in the first directory.

Abstract: A digital asset management system includes dynamic roles assignment and user level image/data interchange. The system stores digital asset files, where different subsets of one or more of the files are associated with respective jobs. In addition, the system stores information that defines access privileges for various features and capabilities with respect to respective roles, information indicating which one or more roles are associated with each respective job, and information indicating which individuals or groups of individuals are assigned to a particular role with respect to a particular job. A graphical user interface is displayed to allow a particular individual or group to take specified actions with respect to the digital asset files associated with a particular job. The specified actions made available through the graphical user interface depend on the respective role assigned to that individual or group of individuals with respect to the particular job.
