Publication number: 20250129391Abstract: A system can include a polymer degradant and a nano-protectant. The nano-protectant preferably surrounds (e.g., encloses, encapsulates, etc.) the polymer degradant. The system can optionally be incorporated into a polymeric substance. A method for forming a polymeric nano-protectant can include forming a mixture from a plurality of distinct monomers and polymerizing the plurality of distinct monomers.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 18, 2024Publication date: April 24, 2025Applicant: Intropic Materials CorporationInventors: Aaron Hall, Adam Safir, Jennifer Imbrogno, Jolene Mattson, Rodolfo Orellana, Stefan Marco Eres

Publication number: 20240309842Abstract: Systems and methods of driving a nacelle to a target nacelle yaw position are provided in which an auxiliary yaw position control system is coupled to a turbine control unit. The auxiliary yaw position control system receives a first signal representing a current nacelle yaw position and a second signal representing a target nacelle yaw position. The auxiliary yaw position control system determines, based upon the current nacelle yaw position and the target nacelle yaw position, whether and in which direction the nacelle needs to move to be in the target nacelle yaw position and sends nacelle yaw actuation signals to the turbine control unit. If it is safe to accept the nacelle yaw actuation signals, the auxiliary yaw position control system commands the yaw drive so it moves to the target nacelle yaw position.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 8, 2024Publication date: September 19, 2024Inventors: Danian Zheng, Nathan L. Post, Aaron Hall, Karthikeyan Appuraj, Peter Bachant

Publication number: 20230059215Abstract: The present disclosure provides an article. In an embodiment, the article includes a substrate and a coating on the substrate. The coating includes a composition. The composition includes a plurality of nanoparticles, each nanoparticle having a ligand linked to a surface of each nanoparticle. The composition includes a plurality of block copolymers. Each block copolymer includes a linking block and a nonlinking block. The linking block is a random copolymer composed of at least two different monomers. At least one of the monomers is a linking comonomer. The linking comonomer is directly linked to the ligand to form a first microdomain consisting of the linking block, the nanoparticles, and the ligand. The composition further includes a second microdomain consisting of the nonlinking block.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2020Publication date: February 23, 2023Inventors: Rahul Sharma, Tamara Dikic, Ting Xu, Aaron Hall, Jingyu Huang

Patent number: 11361150Abstract: In various implementations, a computing device: displays the document outline on the user interface; maintains, in a non-transitory computer-readable medium, a causal graph data structure representing the document outline, wherein the causal graph data structure includes a plurality of structure nodes, each structure node representing a level of the document outline; receives, via the user interface, an insertion of a new level to the document outline; in response to the insertion, defines a structure node that represents the inserted level; inserts a transition node in the causal graph data structure, wherein the transition node represents a relationship between the structure node and at least one other node of the causal graph data structure; inserts the structure node into the causal graph data structure as a child of the transition node; and updating the user interface to display the inserted level.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2021Date of Patent: June 14, 2022Assignee: WORKIVA INC.Inventors: Grant Nelson, Michael J.
