  • Publication number: 20170193415
Abstract: A system receives basic project information for a construction project such as architectural blueprints. A classification UI may be used to associate the project with one or more provisional classifications which identify high level aspects of the project, such as whether the project requires painting, drywall preparation, or the like. A tasking UI may be used to create a set of tasks that must be performed to complete a project takeoff from the basic project information, such as determining square footage of floors and walls, or determining material costs. A project takeoff UI may be used to complete the set of tasks associated with the project by using measuring and drawing tools. A takeoff review UI may be used to make minor revisions and approve or reject a project takeoff. Once approved, the system distributes the project takeoff through a variety of channels.

  • Publication number: 20160084135
Abstract: A system to protect an after treatment system from the effects of hydrocarbon accumulation on a catalyst. An engine system microprocessor using software estimates the amount of hydrocarbon accumulation on the after treatment system based on engine system parameters and other parameters. The accumulated hydrocarbons can cause an exothermic event if the catalyst temperature is allowed to ramp up too quickly. Similarly, accumulated hydrocarbon can temporarily reduce after treatment system performance. In the case of SCR, the microprocessor can control a reductant injector to modulate the amount of reductant being injected into the after treatment system to control the amount of ammonia slip. Alternatively or in addition to, the microprocessor can communicate with proper electronic control modules to modulate the engine system parameters such as engine speed, fuel, and back pressure to control engine exhaust flow temperature during operation of the engine system.

  • Patent number: 8834820
Abstract: An emissions control system includes a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) device, one or more monitoring devices and one or more sensors. The system further includes a controller configured to determine an operating emissions gas conversion ratio of the SCR device. The controller is further configured to determine an injection amount of a reduction agent to maintain an operating emissions gas conversion ratio of the SCR device and to adjust the operating emissions gas conversion ratio to a target emissions gas conversion ratio by adjusting the injection amount of the reduction agent to the SCR device. The system utilizes a Time-Temperature model to determine the target emissions gas conversion ratio and/or reduction agent injection ratio. The system further includes a reduction agent injector configured to supply the adjusted injection amount of the reduction agent to the SCR device.

  • Publication number: 20110232971
Abstract: A portable drilling rig including a carousel housing several drill pipe sections used in drilling oil, gas, or other wells into the earth. The carousel indexes the drill pipe sections as a mast raises and lowers a kelly, rotated by a top head. The kelly temporarily attaches to a stored drill pipe section and lowers it into the earth where the drill pipe section is connected to an existing drill string. This entire process is automated so that no human interaction with the actual drill pipe section is necessary. The entire carousel rig may be loaded onto a truck bed or other transportation device to be delivered to a site where drilling is to occur.
