Publication number: 20240408342Abstract: A respiratory mask system includes a mask interface and a headgear assembly. The headgear assembly is adjustable and comprised of an elastic portion, a non-elastic portion and a restriction mechanism configured to provide a force resisting movement of the non-elastic portion when the elastic portion is extended. There is a support beam coupled to the non-elastic portion and extending along a portion of the headgear that is curved along its longitudinal extent. In this way particular seal modules can be comfortably fitted to a user and any blow off force is mitigated. A particular example of the respiratory mask system includes provision for removable attachment between the seal and a mask frame, the mask frame and a yoke of the headgear; and between a conduit and the mask frame.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 21, 2024Publication date: December 12, 2024Inventors: Christopher Gareth SIMS, Fadi Karim Moh'd MASHAL, Vitaly KAPELEVICH, Mark Arvind MCLAREN, Silas Sao Jin SIEW, Jonathan Mark DOWNEY, Christopher Michael WONG, Matthew Aaron BRADLEY, Janine Elizabeth COLLINS, Dillan PATEL, Steve THOMAS, Chris Onin Limpin HIPOLITO, Priyanka Ferdinand PEREIRA, Matthew Robert Geoff SLIGHT, David Monroy FELIX, Xin Yue ZHU, Jonathan Tong Lok SNG, Arvin San Jose GARDIOLA, Stephen Francis HEFFERNAN, Christine Marie LYNCH, Wen Dong HUANG, Bruce Michael WALLS, Jeremy Owen YOUNG, Tony William SPEAR, Jake Baker HOCKING, Melissa Catherine BORNHOLDT

Patent number: 12151230Abstract: Disclosed herein is a catalyst which comprises a silica core having an outer surface and a mesoporous silica shell having an outer surface and an inner surface with the inner surface being inside the outer surface of said mesoporous silica shell proximate to and surrounding the outer surface of said silica core. Wherein the outer surface of the mesoporous silica shell has openings leading to pores within the mesoporous silica shell which extend toward the outer surface of said silica core. The catalyst also includes catalytically active metal nanoparticles positioned within the pores proximate to said core, wherein the catalytic metal nanoparticles comprise about 0.0001 wt % to about 1.0 wt % of the catalyst. Also disclosed are methods of making the catalyst and using it to carry out a process for catalytically hydrogenolysizing a polyolefinic polymer.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2023Date of Patent: November 26, 2024Assignees: IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY RESEARCH FOUNDATION, INC., CORNELL UNIVERSITYInventors: Aaron D. Patent number: 12060082Abstract: Techniques are discussed for interaction probabilities associated with regions of an environment around a vehicle. An interaction probability of a region may indicate a likelihood an object positioned at the region will interact with the vehicle. A top-down multi-channel image representing a top-down view of the environment and objects therein may be generated and input to a machine learned (ML) model. The ML model may output a probability map, a portion of the probability map comprising a region and an interaction probability associated with the region that indicates a likelihood objects positioned at the region will interact with the vehicle. A priority for resource assignment or analysis may be determined based on the interaction probability for an object positioned in the region. Control of the vehicle may be performed based at least in part on the priority for resource assignment or analysis.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2020Date of Patent: August 13, 2024Assignee: Zoox, Inc.Inventors: Gowtham Garimella, Jefferson Bradfield Packer, Aaron Huang

Publication number: 20240199083Abstract: A machine-learned architecture for estimating the cost determined by a cost function for a prediction node of a tree search for exploring potential paths for controlling a vehicle may include two portions: a set up portion that includes models trained to process static data and a second portion that processes dynamic object data. The respective portions of the architecture may comprise various models that determine intermediate outputs that may be projected into a space associated with estimated cost. That estimated cost may identify an estimate of an output of the cost function for paths that are based on a particular prediction node of the tree search.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 19, 2022Publication date: June 20, 2024Inventors: Yan Chang, Aaron Huang, Peter Scott Schleede, Gary Linscott, Marin Kobilarov, Ethan Miller Pronovost, Ke Sun, Xiangyu Xie

Publication number: 20180165188Abstract: An improved garbage collection (“GC”) process configured to recover new blocks from used storage space is disclosed. After initiating the GC process for a flash memory in accordance with at least one of predefined triggering events, a first valid page within a first block marked as an erasable block is identified. Upon determining a first signature representing the content of the first valid page according to a predefined signature generator, the process identifies a second valid page within a second block as a duplicated page of the first valid page in response to the first signature. The process subsequently associates the logical block address (“LBA”) of the first valid page to the second valid page. In an alternative embodiment, page compression and sequential order of page arrangement can also be implemented to further enhance efficiency of garbage collection.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 12, 2018Publication date: June 14, 2018Applicant: CNEX Labs, Inc.Inventors: Yiren Ronnie Huang, Aaron Huang
