  • Patent number: 12379370
Abstract: One embodiment of the invention is directed to a sample processing system for analyzing a biological sample from a patient. The sample processing system comprises: a plurality of analyzers comprising at least one mass spectrometer, wherein each analyzer in the plurality of analyzers is configured to acquire at least one measurement value corresponding to at least one characteristic of the biological sample; at least one data storage component which stores (i) a list of parameters for the plurality of analyzers, and (ii) at least two condition sets, which contain data associated with completing one or more test orders. The condition sets contain data which differ by at least one variable; and a control system operatively coupled to the plurality of analyzers, and the at least one data storage component.

  • Publication number: 20240173489
Abstract: The portable ultrasonic nebulizer is a device that uses a high-frequency piezoelectric oscillator to create an aerosolized medication for inhalation. The medication is typically a liquid, but can also be a suspension, emulsion, or solution. The portable ultrasonic nebulizer is formed from two primary components: a controller and a cartridge. The controller includes the electronics and power source for the operation of the device. The cartridge includes the reservoir in which the medication is held, as well as the associated components for delivery of the medication, including the wick and piezoelectric oscillator. The cartridge is single-use, or disposable. Thus, the user keeps the controller, to which she joins cartridges as desired, whether to change medications, or as a refill.
