  • Patent number: 10202976
Abstract: A mobile compressed natural gas (CNG) vessel and unloader are used to supply CNG to a compressor during regulatory emissions testing of the compressor (e.g., U.S. EPA's Quad J testing). CNG output by the compressor is recirculated to an inlet of the unloader so that it is reused during the emissions testing. Lean CNG from the vessel may be used to power the compressor during the testing. The unloader ensures that the compressor is run at at least a predetermined load factor during the emissions testing.

  • Publication number: 20170204710
Abstract: A gas lift capable oil well is artificially gas lifted by transferring compressed natural gas (CNG) from a compressed natural gas vessel of a mobile CNG storage system to a tubing-casing annulus of the gas lift capable well via a pathway. The CNG transfer occurs without the use of a compressor. A mobile unloader monitors and controls the flow of CNG from the vessel to the annulus.
