    Abstract: A control device for controlling a motor load may comprise an actuation member having a front surface defining a touch sensitive surface configured to detect a touch actuation along at least a portion of the touch sensitive surface, and a light bar configured to be illuminated to indicate a rotational speed of the motor load. The control device may also comprise a control circuit configured to determine control data for adjusting a rotational speed of the motor load to one of a number of discrete speeds in response to which of a number of respective regions along the light bar on the touch sensitive surface in which the touch actuation occurs. The control circuit may illuminate a portion of the light bar to indicate the one of the number of discrete speeds to which the rotational speed of the motor load is controlled in response to the control data.
