    Abstract: An electronic network is monitored for abrupt or unexpected changes in operating parameters. Monitoring may include performing a first measurement of a parameter of the network on a first data path between a first electronic device and a second electronic device. A second measurement of the parameter may then be performed. An indication is provided if the difference of values of the first measurement and the second measurement exceeds a preselected value.
