The insulative housing has an elastic rear latch (232) and a cam block (231) attached below the rear latch. The slider has a main portion (411) and an extension portion (412) protruding rearward from the main portion. The extension portion has a bearing surface (4121) for deflecting the cam block. The rear latch together with the cam block is deflected away from the card receiving space by the bearing surface when the slider is at an original rear position.
