    Abstract: The present invention is directed to a test strip ejection mechanism for ejecting test strips from a test meter. The test strip mechanism includes a pusher assembly having at least one fin and a plurality of spaced apart test strip connectors configured to contact to a plurality of contact pads disposed on a test strip, wherein the fin pushes in between adjacent test strip connectors and against a proximal end of the test strip until the test strip is ejected.
