    Abstract: The method and system of the present invention involves coating a substrate or material with both a polymeric powder coating material and a retro-reflective material and finally applying a surface treatment of hydrophobic nano-molecular particles. The polymeric powder coating material provides a tough, corrosion resistant protective layer on the substrate and also acts as a binder in which the retro-reflective material is subsequently embedded.
