    Abstract: An air conditioning unit for use in an opening of a building. The air conditioning unit includes an indoor portion configured to be position on an internal portion of the building and having an indoor heat exchanging coil, an outdoor portion configured to be position on an external portion of the building and having an outdoor heat exchanging coil, a pump, tubing connected to the pump, and a water dispersing device. The pump and the tubing may be configured to pump condensate from one of the indoor portion and the outdoor portion to the water dispersing device disposed at the other of the outdoor portion and the indoor portion such that the water dispersing device disperses the condensate about an area of the other of the outdoor portion and the indoor portion.

The system includes a compressor configured to pump a refrigerant in a defrosting mode, a heat exchanging coil configured to receive the refrigerant from the compressor so as to operate in the defrosting mode and melt ice formed on the heat exchanging coil into condensate, a condensate pump, and a water transport system. The condensate pump is configured to pump the condensate via the water transport system. In some instances, a portion of the water transport system is disposed such that residual heat from the compressor heats the condensate being pumped by the condensate pump.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for heating and humidifying an interior space using a heat pump are provided. The heat pump may be a window unit and may include a catch for collecting condensation forming on heat exchanger coils positioned in an exterior environment. Using a humidification system, the condensation may be directed via a toward and distributed on (e.g., via dripping and/or spraying) an exterior of heat exchanger coils positioned in an interior environment. A heating channel may be designed to circulate heated fluid (e.g., heated refrigerant) near or around the humidification system to maintain the fluid in a liquid state. The humidification system may include one or more filters and/or chemical agents for removing impurities in the condensation. The heat pump with the humidification system may simultaneously heat and humidify an interior space.

    Abstract: A room conditioning unit including a deflatably inflatable cushion located underneath the bridge portion for installing and uninstalling the room conditioning unit. A crane cart can be used to raise and lower the room conditioning unit via a lifting apparatus configured to attach to the anchor points such that a lift attachment point of the lifting apparatus is located above the center of mass of the room conditioning unit. Telescopic closeout panels can seal gaps between the room conditioning unit and the sides of the corresponding window. A mounting pad system having a mounting pad and an actuator can extend and retract to contact a wall and secure the room conditioning unit in place.
