  • Publication number: 20240130925
Abstract: A wearable health management system includes a flexible member configured to be worn on an affected area by a patient. At least one actuator is operably coupled to the flexible member. The at least one actuator is configured to be adjusted between a deployed state and a non-deployed state. At least one of a photoplethysmogram sensor and a bioimpedance sensor is coupled to the flexible member to obtain one or more health metrics from the patient. A controller is in communication with the at least one actuator. The controller is configured to adjust the at least one actuator to the deployed state to provide a selected pressure to the affected area.

  • Publication number: 20240065561
Abstract: A housing assembly includes a housing body that defines an internal chamber. A connection bracket is located in the internal chamber and includes a first spindle bracket and a second spindle bracket. The first spindle bracket has a first recess and the second spindle bracket has a second recess. A cuff roll assembly includes a first spindle located in the first recess and a second spindle located in the second recess. The first spindle is spaced from the second spindle. A roll of pressure cuffs includes a plurality of pressure cuffs that are sequentially connected and wrapped around the first spindle and the second spindle. The plurality of pressure cuffs each include a first connection strip that is formed of hooks and a second connection strip that is formed of loops. The loops are formed of non-woven polyethylene terephthalate spunlace material.

  • Publication number: 20220291045
Abstract: A thermometer includes one or more temperature sensors mounted on a housing. The one or more temperature sensors determine a temperature of at least one measurement site without contact. The non-contact thermometer displays an indicator to assist alignment of the one or more temperature sensors with the at least one measurement site, receives at least one measurement reading from the at least one measurement site, determines a temperature based on the at least one measurement reading, and displays the temperature on a display unit.

  • Publication number: 20220047446
Abstract: A therapeutic wrap includes a flexible member configured to wrap around an affected area. Actuators are operably coupled to the flexible member. Each actuator is operable between a deployed state and a non-deployed state. A first coupling feature is disposed proximate a first edge on a first surface of the flexible member. A second coupling feature is disposed proximate a second edge on a second surface of the flexible member. The first coupling feature is configured to engage the second coupling feature when the flexible member is wrapped around the affected area and when the flexible member is slidably adjusted relative to the affected area. A retaining feature is coupled to at least one end of the flexible member and configured to retain the flexible member in a selected position on the affected area.
