  • Patent number: 11374412
Abstract: A power source resident in furniture provides power to at least one charging port or socket used to provide power to an electronic device. The furniture may be an articulated furniture having at least one motor. The furniture may have at least one type of switch that manages the power to the charging port. The switch may reduce wasted energy consumption due to heat lost at the charging port.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 16, 2018
Date of Patent: June 28, 2022
Assignee: PARKER HOUSE MFG. CO., INC.
Inventors: Christopher John Lupo, Lorin Kenneth Rosenthal, Aaron R London, Lindon Alford Baker
  • Publication number: 20180368706
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus, system, and method for compensating for hydrostatic pressure offset in transducer-based pressure measurements. The system may comprise: a measurement pressure transducer to measure an apparent fluid pressure at a measurement site, a reference pressure transducer to measure a hydrostatic pressure caused by a level difference between the measurement pressure transducer and the measurement site, and a controller to generate a corrected fluid pressure measurement based on the apparent fluid pressure and the hydrostatic pressure, wherein the measurement pressure transducer and the reference pressure transducer are placed at a same first level, and the measurement site and an end of a fluid-filled tube connected to the reference pressure transducer are at a same second level.

  • Patent number: 6953299
Abstract: A system for treating a work surface including a handle portion, a first tool head adapted for use with a removable pad and a second tool head, both connectable to the handle portion, and a first fluid reservoir is disclosed. In some arrangements, the second tool head can be used with a removable pad or can include an electric motor. A controller can be provided for releasing and stopping fluid flow from the first fluid reservoir. An optional second fluid reservoir can also be used. The first tool head and the first fluid reservoir can include a first indicium that can be characterized by a feature such as color, shape, picture, text, or sound. The indicium can signify a work surface, a purpose for surface treatment, a mode of operation or instructions. Surface treatments include applying, cleaning, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, disinfecting, killing mites, killing fleas, detoxifying, neutralizing allergens, painting, removing liquids, and fertilizing.
