    Abstract: An intake duct for an air intake system of a work vehicle is disclosed. The intake duct may generally include a body defining an air passage extending between an intake end and an outlet end. The body may further define a recessed intake at the intake end including a first side section and a second side section. Each of the first side section and the second side may define at least one side opening for directing air into the air passage. In addition, the recessed intake may include a deflector projecting outwardly from the first and second side sections. The deflector may be configured to shield the air passage from water directed towards the recessed inlet.
