Publication number: 20240100925Abstract: A belt seal assembly is provided for an associated vehicle. The belt seal assembly includes a first leg and a second leg interconnected at one end by a base to form an inverted, generally U-shaped body. A seal lip extends outwardly from an outer face of the first leg that is configured to slidably, sealingly engage an associated window surface of the associated vehicle. A tab extends from the body and is dimensioned to be received in snap-fit relation with an associated opening of an associated outer door panel. The tab includes a hard retaining insert received in a more flexible overmold that forms an end cap. A protrusion extending from the retaining insert snap-fits with an opening in the associated vehicle door panel. The belt seal assembly can also be removed from the vehicle for servicing.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventor: Aaron Robinson

Patent number: 11933577Abstract: A water balloon cannon including a barrel with a bore diameter designed to receive a water balloon. The barrel extends between a muzzle and a rear portion, where the rear portion defines a compressed air port and a water port. The water balloon cannon further includes a water valve for introducing a volume of water through the water port into the rear portion of the bore diameter, and an air valve for introducing a flow of compressed air through the compressed air port into the rear portion of the bore diameter. The volume of water is designed to act as a buffer between the flow of compressed air and the water balloon positioned within the bore diameter.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2023Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Inventor: Aaron Robinson

Publication number: 20220340283Abstract: A door assembly for passenger seating comprises a base having a leading end in which a recess is formed, and a door that is curved in end cross-section. The door is pivotable with respect to the base and, in an open state, the rearward end of the door is located in the recess. The arrangement reduces the space in the forward direction that is required to accommodate the door, and so facilitates provision of a minimum size of gap between seat rows without having to increase inter-row pitch.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2022Publication date: October 27, 2022Inventors: Jonathan McGreevy, Aaron Robinson, Neil Rogers

Patent number: 10946735Abstract: A belt assembly for an associated vehicle has a body that includes a substantially planar region dimensioned for abutting engagement with the vehicle. At least one seal lip extends outwardly from a first face of the body to engage an associated surface of a vehicle window. A first hook is provided on the body for receipt over a terminal tip of the vehicle structural assembly, and a second hook is dimensioned for at least partial receipt through an associated opening around the door window opening. The first hook is positioned over the terminal tip and then the second hook is rotated until the second hook elastically deforms outwardly and subsequently snap fits into an associated opening and the substantially planar region abuts along the associated structural assembly of the door to preclude movement of the belt assembly upwardly, cross-car, and fore-and-aft relative to the associated vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2017Date of Patent: March 16, 2021Assignee: COOPER-STANDARD AUTOMOTIVE, INC.Inventor: Aaron Robinson

Publication number: 20190135419Abstract: An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) having foldable arms is disclosed. The UAV comprises a main body housing an electrical circuitry and a payload, such as a camera. A set of arms are connected to the main body. The arms connected to the main body of the UAV comprise propellers connected to each of the arms. The arms connected to the main body of the UAV comprise of an impact protection mechanism. The impact protection mechanism allows an omni-directional movement of each of the arms. Therefore, the UAV gets protected using such design, and damage to the UAV and individuals present around is significantly reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2018Publication date: May 9, 2019Applicant: Vantage Robotics LLCInventors: Tobin Joseph Fisher, Johannes van Niekerk, Noah Gennaro Shartle, Aaron Robinson Breen
