Abstract: A system (100) includes an interface portal (116) to receive (401), at a resource locator (402) pointing to media content (101), a request (117) for the media content from a client device (109). A server complex (102) can validate a secure token (403) of the request, and can issue a new token (405) that includes one or more session identification credentials (406). These can include a session identifier (407) indicating a session required to retrieve the media content to the client device, an identifier of an edge server (105) to serve the request for the media content, and other information. A resource management system (106), operable with the server complex and the edge server, can then throttle a data rate of the session as a function of the one or more session identification credentials or terminate the session as a function of the one or more session credentials.

Abstract: A muzzleloading firearm for engaging a firing pin to discharge a primer includes a trigger plate connected between a front stock and a rear stock, with a central cavity traversing the trigger plate to support a sear and a trigger in mechanical communication with the sear. A hammer assembly is pivotally mounted to the trigger plate to rotate between a cocked position and a resting position, and includes a base extending into the central cavity. The base includes an upper arcuate surface opposite a lower locking surface having a shoulder. A hammer head member is connected to the upper arcuate surface to engage a firing pin. A rolling breechblock is pivotally attached to the plate between a retracted loading position and a firing position, and has a curved upper surface to engage the arcuate surface of the hammer assembly when moving between the loading position and the firing position to force the distal end of the sear to engage shoulder of the base.

Abstract: A breech plug for use with a muzzleloading firearm includes a magnetic holding member for drawing a primer into engagement with the breech plug and allowing simple disengagement of the primer after the firing of the associated firearm. The breech plug includes a cylindrical body having a distal end and a breech end, with the breech end defining a recessed seat that is surrounded by a shoulder to receive the magnetic holding member and primer. The magnetic holding member is secured to the shoulder or the recessed seat to attract the primer into engagement within the shoulder of the breech plug to be struck by a firing pin or hammer. After the firearm is shot, the user is able to easily remove the primer from the magnetic holding member.
