Abstract: The system and method for building an engagement advertisement disclosed herein includes enabling an advertiser to choose from multiple design templates and specify phases to create a rich, interactive advertisement. The engagement advertisement can be deployed onto the Internet, where a viewer can take part in an advertising experience based on the engagement advertisement. The advertising experience includes phases, and the viewer may be required to perform at least one action in a phase in order to advance to another phase. A completion to the advertising experience may be signified to the viewer, and in response to the completion to the advertising experience, the viewer may optionally be provided with a remuneration. The engagement advertisement may be used either as a stand-alone engagement advertisement or as part of a campaign, which includes targeting data, start/end dates, and a budget.

Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing the placement of online advertisements based on information describing user interactions with previous advertisement. The information include primary activity data describing user responses that directly caused the previous advertisements to pay and secondary activity data describing user responses to the previous advertisements that did not directly cause the previous advertisements to pay. A performance ratings of candidate advertisements are determined based upon the primary activity data and secondary activity data.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to computer-implemented methods and systems for a site to facilitate privacy protected interactions between users of a site and a third party utility. For example, a computer may receiving from a user selected from the users of the site, a request to interact with the third party utility. The computer may also encrypt an identification of the user to generate an encrypted user identification associated with the third party utility; and provide the encrypted user identification and the request to the third party utility.

Abstract: The invention relates to a separable device for the application of compression and thermal therapy to a patient. A first section includes a reservoir, liquid pump and a thermal exchange system for the application of thermal therapy as well as a dock. The second section of the device includes an air compressor and at least one controller for the application of compression therapy and can be operated independently from the first section. Additionally, the second section may be engaged with a dock of the first section.

The duct has first and second outlet openings. A chute leads from the outlet openings. The chute has a single discharge opening from which ice from both duct outlet openings is discharged. An ice crusher is between a first outlet opening and the chute. A gate opens and blocks the flow path from the second opening into the chute. When cubed ice is desired, the gate is spaced from the second opening so that cubed ice is discharged from the duct and chute. When crushed ice is desired, the gate closes the second opening. Ice flows out of the first opening, is crushed by the ice crusher and discharged through the chute.

Abstract: A multi-flavor valve capable of dispensing at least three flavors of beverages is provided. The valve includes a single-piece injection-molded valve body having at least three syrup flow paths and a water flow path. The valve also includes at least three syrup flow path solenoids for respectively opening and closing the at least three syrup flow paths, and one water flow path solenoid for opening and closing the water flow path. The three syrup flow path solenoids are positioned in the corresponding syrup flow paths, and the water flow path solenoid is positioned in the water flow path, within the valve body. The valve also has at least three beverage flavor switches for selecting any one of the three beverage flavors for dispensation.

Abstract: Techniques are described that provide automated sales-related assistance to sales organizations, such as for multi-tiered sales organizations that are clients of a multi-tenanted network-accessible server hosting a sales lead management service. The automated assistance may include assisting first-tier sales development representatives to qualify leads as sufficiently developed to allow a second-tier sales representatives to efficiently develop sales from them, and by further assisting the second-tier sales representatives to provide meaningful feedback that addresses problems in the lead qualifying process, such as by notifying a sales development representative of the reasons that one of their qualified sales lead was rejected by a sales representative and prompting resolution by that sales development representative.
