  • Patent number: 12112936
Abstract: A charge detection mass spectrometer includes an ion trap configured to receive and store ions therein and to selectively release stored ions therefrom, and an electrostatic linear ion trap (ELIT) spaced apart from the ion trap, the ELIT including first and second ion mirrors and a charge detection cylinder positioned therebetween, and means for selectively controlling the ion trap to release at least some of the stored ions therefrom to travel toward and into the ELIT, and for controlling the first and second ion mirrors in a manner which traps in the ELIT a single one of the ions traveling therein and causes the trapped ion to oscillate back and forth between the first and second ion mirrors each time passing through and inducing a corresponding charge on the charge detection cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20240096683
Abstract: Embodiments herein are generally directed to die cleaning frames for processing and handling singulated devices and methods related thereto. The die cleaning frames may be used advantageously to minimize contact with device surfaces during post-singulation processing and to facilitate a pick and place bonding process without touching the active side of the cleaned device. Thus, the die cleaning frames and methods described herein eliminate the need for undesirable contact with clean and prepared active sides of the devices during a direct placement die-to-wafer bonding process. In one embodiment, a carrier configured to support a singulated device in a die pocket region may include a carrier plate and a frame that surrounds the carrier plate and is integrally formed therewith. The carrier plate may include a first surface and an opposite second surface, and one or more sidewalls that define an opening disposed through and extending between the first and second surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20230399851
Abstract: A staircase is provided that includes a column and steps. Each step: is coupled to the column and extends outside of, and away from, the column; includes a tread surface; and can move longitudinally along the column. The staircase can transition to a plurality of states by an actuation system, including closed and open states. The closed state includes the steps positioned at the upper end with the tread surfaces of the plurality of steps oriented around the upper end and coplanar to a flooring surface of the upper floor. The opened state includes the steps positioned at varying distances longitudinally along the column from the upper end towards the lower end so as to form spiraling steps around the column between the upper and lower floors. The steps can move longitudinally along the column for positioning in the closed and opened states.

  • Patent number: 11184394
Abstract: In some embodiments, systems, methods, and devices disclosed herein enable trusted sharing of private data and/or transactions via a distributed ledger, while maintaining data consistency properties. Some embodiments provide and utilize one or more independent and/or dependent channels. In particular, in some embodiments, one or more independent and/or dependent channels can exist on a single distributed ledger, wherein participants or nodes that are members of a particular channel can view and access the information in a given network transaction. To other participants or nodes not on the particular channel, however, only an encrypted or redacted version of the information can be viewable, thereby not disclosing the transaction information to such participants or nodes. In some embodiments, consistency properties may be preserved even in the presence of selective sharing of transaction information with proofs of validity.

  • Publication number: 20210214745
Abstract: The invention provides synthetic nucleic acid sequences encoding proteins of interest that are particularly adapted to express well in plants. The claimed synthetic sequences utilize plant-optimized codons roughly in the same frequency at which they are utilized, on average, in genes naturally occurring in the plant species. The invention further includes synthetic DNA sequence for herbicide tolerance, water and/or heat stress tolerance, healthy oil modifications and for transformation marker genes and selectable marker genes are used. DNA construct and transgenic plants containing the synthetic sequences are taught as are methods and compositions for using the plants in agriculture.
