Patent number: 12259068Abstract: A method by which threaded sections of oil field pipe are connected to form a coupled and sealed tubular connection having proper sealing positioning at proper make-up torque. A tubular coupling has box ends and an internal mid region which forms interior shoulder regions. A seal ring is received on the mid region and mates with the end faces of the coupling shoulder and with a centrally located groove on the shoulder. The pin ends of opposing sections of pipe are received within the oppositely arranged box ends of the coupling and are made-up to a final, desired make-up position. The final position and amount of squeeze on the seal ring are controlled by utilizing the contact between the pipe pin ends and the shoulder regions of the coupling.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 2023Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: Hunting Energy Services, LLCInventors: Ryan Gholamreza Ghasemi, Aaron Walsh, Stephen Harvey

Patent number: 11149704Abstract: A method of testing a fuel injection system or components thereof includes running a high pressure fuel pump to provide fluid under pressure to the fuel injection system or components. The pump flow is controlled via an inlet metering valve by controlling current or voltage supplied to the inlet metering valve dependent on the power to the fuel pump.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2017Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Inventors: Aaron Walsh, Lee Raymond Jacobs

Patent number: 10557448Abstract: A driveshaft assembly, for example in an Electronic Unit Injector, Unit Injector or Electronic Unit Pump testing machine, wherein an indexing arrangement, such as complementary external and internal splines, enables a cam to be mounted on a shaft at a number of discreet positions, each providing a different offset of a central axis of the base cylinder section from a central axis of the shaft, each position providing a different maximum lift value of a plunger in contact with the cam, directly or via a rocker arm.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 2015Date of Patent: February 11, 2020Assignee: DELPHI TECHNOLOGIES IP LIMITEDInventors: Aaron Walsh, Michael A. Willis

Patent number: 10473503Abstract: A positive linear displacement flow rate meter includes a first chamber for receiving a substance such as diesel from a fuel injector and applying a substance force to one end of a piston, wherein an opposing force is applied, such as by air pressure, in a second chamber, to the other piston end, and a comparator, for indicating to a control unit to discard invalid piston displacement measurements, until the substance force is substantially equal to the opposing force, allowing accurate flow rate measurement independent of variation in conditions between uses of the meter.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 2016Date of Patent: November 12, 2019Assignee: HARTRIDGE LIMITEDInventor: Aaron Walsh

Patent number: 7409874Abstract: Metering apparatus including wall portions which define an elongate generally upright cavity of substantially uniform cross-section and an inlet to the cavity to enable fluid which is to be metered to be fed into the cavity. The apparatus further includes a pressure transducer in communication with fluid in the cavity when the apparatus is in use, to provide a signal indicative of the amount of fluid in the cavity above the transducer.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 2005Date of Patent: August 12, 2008Assignee: Hartridge LimitedInventors: Aaron Walsh, Ronald Michael Bundock

Publication number: 20070220000Abstract: A method and apparatus for permitting a resource to be locally stored by any one of a plurality of programs (that use different first resource identifies) using a resource identifier mapping technique that makes the resource accessible to any local or remote program. To that end, a store request relating to the resource from one of the plurality of programs is received. The store request identifies the resource with a first resource identifier associated with the one of the plurality of programs. The first resource identifier is mapped to a global resource identifier having a standard format. The resource is then permitted to be stored based on the global resource identifier. In response to a retrieve request with a first resource identifier for the resource, the resource is retrievable via the global resource identifier. The retrieve request may be made by any one of the plurality or programs.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 2, 2007Publication date: September 20, 2007Inventor: Aaron Walsh
