Publication number: 20250149279Abstract: An electrical circuit includes circuitry connected to a dry contact switch. The circuitry translates an open or closed state of the dry contact switch to a current loop current having one of multiple current levels, where the multiple current levels comprise a first non-zero current level and a second non-zero current level that is different than the first non-zero current level. The circuitry further sends the current loop current, at the one of the multiple current levels, via a current loop connected to the electrical circuit.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 10, 2025Publication date: May 8, 2025Inventors: Jonathan Cedarleaf, Adam Lindeman, Colin O'Callaghan, Aaron Weiss

Patent number: 12237128Abstract: A device includes a device input, an output connector configured to connect to a current loop, and current loop transmitter circuitry. The current loop transmitter circuitry receives, via the device input, an input from a dry contact switch, and translates a state of the dry contact switch to a current loop current. The current loop transmitter circuitry transmits the current loop current via the output connector through the current loop.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 2023Date of Patent: February 25, 2025Assignee: Cornell Pump Company LLCInventors: Jonathan Cedarleaf, Adam Lindeman, Colin O'Callaghan, Aaron Weiss

Publication number: 20250052082Abstract: An inflatable pool cover for pool apparatus, including hot tubs and spas, is disclosed. The inflatable pool cover includes a body having slightly larger diameter than the pool apparatus. The body, made of durable and waterproof material, includes rings, handles and a valve. Rings are used to tie the inflatable pool cover to the pool apparatus via straps. Handles are used to place or remove the inflatable pool cover from the top of the pool apparatus. The valve is used to inflate the body. In one example, the body has a tapered portion. When placed over the pool apparatus, the tapered portion of the inflatable pool cover ensures water and debris slide and fall outside of the pool apparatus, preventing accumulation of water and debris over the inflatable pool cover. For easy storage and transportation, the inflatable pool cover may be deflated, folded and stored in the included kit.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2024Publication date: February 13, 2025Inventor: Aaron Weiss

Patent number: 12201847Abstract: Certain examples involve a circadian effect light fixture. The circadian effect light fixture includes a controller to receive a modifying factor based on a circadian impact profile. The modifying factor includes an indication of an intensity value, a correlated color temperature value, and a color value over a range of time. The circadian effect light fixture also includes a first lighting element controlled by the controller to produce a first light output having a first intensity, a first correlated color temperature, and a first color value. Further, the circadian effect light fixture includes a second lighting element controlled by the controller to produce a second light output having a second intensity, a second correlated color temperature, and a second color value. A combined light output of the first lighting element and the second lighting element tracks the modifying factor over the range of time.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2018Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: ABL IP Holding LLCInventors: David P. The pool apparatus includes a first tank having a first base, and a tapered section extending away from the first base. The tapered section includes holes. The pool apparatus includes a second tank having a second base and a cylindrical section extending from the second base. The first tank positions in the second tank such that the first base aligns the said second base. The cylindrical section includes pipe receiving sections. The pool apparatus includes pipes connecting the holes and are drawn through the pipe receiving sections. The pipes circulate water for filtration purposes in a closed loop system into the first tank. The second tank presents an air gap with the first tank and allows the first tank to keep cool water cool and warm water hot. The pool apparatus includes a cover at the top.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 29, 2023Publication date: July 4, 2024Inventor: Aaron Weiss

Patent number: 11529234Abstract: According to one embodiment, a protective device for use in congestive heart failure treatments, and other treatments, includes a control mechanism, an elongate shaft, and a protective plate. The control mechanism is coupled with a proximal end of the elongate shaft and the protective plate is pivotably coupled with a distal end of the elongate shaft. The elongate shaft enables the protective plate to be inserted within a body and navigated distally of a heart wall. The protective plate has a relatively wide and thin body portion and is pivotable relative to the elongate shaft by operation of the control mechanism. Pivoting and/or navigating of the protective plate within the body allows the protective plate to be positioned adjacent the heart wall to shield body organs or tissue surrounding the heart wall from being damaged by surgical instruments inserted through the heart wall.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2020Date of Patent: December 20, 2022Assignee: BIOVENTRIX, INC.Inventors: Kevin Van Bladel, Aaron Weiss, Lon Annest, Gilbert Mata, Jr.
