Abstract: A system and method for order retrieval is provided. In some embodiments, the system may comprise a mobile computing device associated with a customer and a computing device associated with a business, such as a restaurant or retail store. The customer mobile computing device may receive identity information associated with the customer, generate a menu, receive an order, provide navigational directions to a delivery zone, receive a preparation timeframe notification, and detect and transmit a preparation timeframe arrival and subsequently, a delivery zone arrival and location of the customer. The business computing device may receive the identity information and the order, adjust a preparation timeframe and the delivery zone, transmit the preparation timeframe notification, receive and display the preparation timeframe arrival and the delivery zone arrival, and complete the order. In further exemplary embodiments, the system may also comprise a printer connected to the business computing device.
