    Abstract: A mid-clamp for attaching solar module frames to a rail has an upper portion with an angled clamping surface, so that tightening of the clamp after insertion of a first module frame leaves the clamp with appropriate torque and clearance. Thereby, a second solar module frame may be inserted in the clearance on an opposite side of the clamp, by a rocking-in motion, without the need for further manual tightening of the clamp by the installer. Clamps with friction plates, vertical legs, ledges, and a clamp that utilizes mounting strips which attach to module frames are also disclosed. As well, a clamp with a two-part, spring-loaded upper portion and a clamp with a two-part hinged arrangement are disclosed. A method of attaching a second solar module frame to rails, without reaching over an already installed first module frame, is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A roof mount includes a base, an adjustment assembly operatively coupled to the base, the adjustment assembly including a partially threaded shaft extending along an axis substantially perpendicular to the roof, an adjustment nut constrained within the adjustment assembly, and a support nut. A clamp is adjustably connected to the base and a distance between the clamp and the base is adjustable. The clamp includes a first clamp portion and second clamp portion, the first clamp portion having a central portion, a first support surface, and a second support surface. The first support surface includes an angled first portion and a substantially horizontal second portion and is configured to support a first solar panel. The central portion is disposed between the first support surface and the second support surface. A fastener is connected to the clamp and is operable to tighten the second clamp portion to the first clamp portion.

    Abstract: An ice harvester has an ice cube tray having at least two compartments for holding ice cubes; a rotating member used to remove ice cubes from the ice cube tray; at least two arms extending from the rotary member for removing ice cubes from the ice cube tray; a motor coupled to the rotary member for powering rotation of the member; and a divider wall formed in the ice cube tray extending vertically between the arms having an edge, wherein the arms are rotated toward the edge to remove ice cubes from said tray, and wherein the edge breaks a web formed between adjacent ice cubes in the tray during rotation of the arms. The arms can be offset from each other along a circumference of the sweeping member. The edge of the divider wall can have ramped portions to facilitate the breaking apart of the cubes to reduce required motor torque.
