  • Patent number: 11871551
Abstract: A RF (“Radio Frequency”) shielding container with an associated garment such as a jacket is described. The RF shielding container may be a pouch that holds and encapsulates an electronic mobile device such as a cell phone. The pouch is made of multiple layers of fabric including metalized layers that effectively block the reception and/or transmission of RF signals to and from the cell phone. A sealing mechanism formed on the pouch ensures the blockage of RF signals while offering ease of use while in combat. A garment such as a jacket or pants is designed to have internal pockets or cavities which can hold the RF shielding container. The RF shielding container may remain in the jacket during use, as well as when the mobile device is placed into or retrieved from the container.

  • Publication number: 20230102853
Abstract: A soft- or hard-sided apparatus for temporarily storing a plurality of electronic devices that transmit electromagnetic signals that would, if not suppressed, interfere with other electronic devices or make the devices accessible to outsiders. The apparatus includes a container, such as a soft-sided bag, that is sized for holding the plurality of electronic devices and is specially adapted to be normally RF-tight to suppress the electromagnetic signals transmitted by the plurality of electronic devices to prevent them from interfering with other electronic devices. The container further includes a small opening assembly in the container that opens and closes, such as a trap door, outfitted with magnets. The first small opening assembly is adapted to be RF-tight when closed so that a user can push an electronic device through the assembly, into the container, after which all the electronic devices are silenced inside of the container.

  • Patent number: 11571052
Abstract: A Reversible Collapsible Security Pouch for Electronic Devices. The Pouch is provided in a variety of different configurations, and further are designed to accommodate a variety of different items. A key-fob-accommodating version is small enough to be attachable to the key fob when in a compacted condition so that it can always be attached to the key fob. The key fob version includes a pair of stretchable wrapping loops that allows the user to roll the pouch into a compact roll and then secure it in the rolled condition using one of the wrapping loops. In some larger pouch versions, there may be closure buttons around which a wrapping loop could be wrapped to secure the closure of the pouch. Other versions may include the ability to close and lock the pouch to secure the encapsulated device. All versions include a Faraday cage integrated into the pouch assembly.
