  • Patent number: 7896153
Abstract: A toilet utensil holder for holding toilet utensils such as a toilet brush and a plunger is shaped as a ship. The holder has a base section forming a hull of the ship, with basins for receiving the utensils, and in a preferred embodiment covers are pivoted to the base section for covering an operative end of the utensils and forming a superstructure of the ship. Handles of the utensils extend above the base portion, and in the preferred embodiment above the covers, and simulate masts or other parts of a ship. A handle may be affixed to the holder to lift and carry it.

  • Publication number: 20080223818
Abstract: A device for attachment to ordinary containers such as bottles, cans and glasses to enable an infant or toddler to drink from the container by using a straw. The device includes a flexible bag-like adapter having a stretchable elastic band on a first end for removable sealed attachment to an open end of the container, and a reduced diameter neck on a second end. A straw extends through and is fixed and sealed to the neck, and extends through the adapter and projects from the adapter at its opposite ends. Tabs on the first end of the adapter facilitate stretching of the band, which has enough strength to resist removal of the device by infants and toddlers, but is relatively easy to apply and remove by an adult. The length of the straw may be adjustable, and the straw may include a flexible bendable joint.

  • Publication number: 20060090794
Abstract: A fluid control valve adapted to be positioned behind a wall or other surface having an access opening for gaining access to the valve, wherein a cover plate is secured against the surface in covering relationship to the access opening to conceal the opening and the valve. A mounting bracket is affixed to the valve, and has a pair of wings projecting from opposite sides of the valve. Threaded openings are formed in the wings for receiving threaded fasteners extended through the cover plate and access opening to hold the cover plate against the surface. A sealing ring is positioned between the cover plate and wall to seal the cover plate relative to the surface.
