  • Patent number: 10226822
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing metal nanoparticles, specifically, by reducing a precursor of metal or metal oxide in an aqueous solution, wherein polyethylenimine and an additional reducing agent are used, thereby obtaining metal nanoparticles having superior properties in improved yield. According to the preparation method of the present invention, metal nanoparticles can be prepared at a higher concentration of metal precursor. Further, a short reaction time and the use of a solvent that is easy to handle, such as water, allow mass production of metal nanoparticles with high efficiency. Moreover, nanoparticles having a superior property can be prepared without a high-temperature treatment over 100° C. Accordingly, the method for preparing metal nanoparticles of the present invention may innovatively simplify the preparation processes, and may also improve the working environment. Thus, it is useful for mass production of metal nanoparticles.
