A first key for causing alphanumeric characters to be sent and a second key for causing a photographic image to be sent are provided on a display. During presentation of the user interface and of the alphanumeric character in a composition portion, a user input indicating selection of the second key is received. In response, a multi-step process is performed, including (a) controlling the camera module to capture the photographic image and (b) send the photographic image.
