    Abstract: An ultrawideband ultra-flat antenna and an ultrawideband ultra-flat transparent antenna which maintains visibility while functioning in surfaces without sacrificing antenna performance. The antenna, when mounted, appears substantially invisible and includes a mesh grid antenna that does not use a radome. The mesh grid antenna is optically transparent and may be easily mounted on windows and ceiling of buildings.

    Abstract: An antenna comprising a plurality of spatial bandpass structures, wherein each spatial bandpass structures comprises an LC resonator having at least one parasitic patch disposed within a loop of the resonator. The plurality of spatial bandpass structures is positioned around a central section of the antenna. In some embodiments, each spatial bandpass structure is embedded in a radiating arm of an antenna. In some embodiments, the central section comprises at least one radiator. In some embodiments, the antenna further comprises at least one parasitic radiator disposed between two spatial bandpass structures. In other embodiments, the antenna has only one spatial bandpass structure, and/or is configured unevenly (i.e., such that different sides of the antenna are configured differently).

    Abstract: A dual-polarized multi-band base station antenna array having a reduced physical footprint with compact antenna elements for deployment in wireless communication systems. The array includes a wall structure for suppressing air coupling between adjacent antenna element columns and for reducing the surface wave. Also described is a swapping technique for improving beamwidth and sector power ratio, and a low-profile antenna element for minimizing cross-band scattering, reducing impact on low-band antenna arrays, and improving passive intermodulation.
