The metal oxide may be WO3, Ce2, Bi2O3, NiO, TiO2, and/or ZnO, and the elemental metal particles, impregnated or compounded into the metal oxide, may be Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Ag, Ce, Mn, Mo, V, Bi, Sn, W, Nb, Pd, and/or Pt. The photocatalytic materials may be easily removed and/or retrieved after use, and can effectively combat both chemical and biological contamination and/or fouling of water as well as the membranes composed of the photocatalytic material.

In various embodiments, the device executes instructions performing operations that include receiving, from a first decision management system, a first plurality of artifacts that defines a first set of logic for a decision and that is executable by a first decision management system, wherein the first plurality of artifacts includes a top-down decision flow artifact. The operations also include converting the first plurality of artifacts from the first decision management system into a second plurality of artifacts that defines a second set of logic for the decision, that is equivalent to the first set of business logic, and that is executable by a second decision management system. Furthermore, the operations include communicating the second plurality of artifacts to a second decision management system, which executes the second plurality of artifacts.

    Abstract: Implementations of a system and method of generating and using bilaterally generated variable instant passwords are disclosed. The system is used to secure electronic transactions (e.g., an auction in which one or more bidders are unknown to the auctioneer). In this system an Internet Service Provider (ISP), on request from a USER (e.g., a bidder), facilitates an authentication process with a SERVICE PROVIDER (e.g., an auctioneer). The SERVICE PROVIDER may send a sub-folder, containing a USER name, a temporary sub variable character set, and a CALL, to the USER through the ISP. The password used to access the sub-folder is transmitted directly to the USER by the SERVICE PROVIDER. The USER gets authenticated to the SERVICE PROVIDER by using the USER name, the temporary sub variable character set, and the CALL retrieved from the sub-folder. After USER's authentication, further transactions (e.g., bids) are performed using a password for each transaction.

In this implementation, a publically available authentication device, comprised of a variable character set, is used to generate a CALL for a password. The password is used to authenticate the other party; authentication is to completed once the correct password is received from the IP address of the party contacted by the USER.
