Patent number: 11689928Abstract: Systems and methods detect a potential hacking attack by monitoring the number and timing of DELBA (Delete Block Acknowledgement) action frames. When the number and timing of the DELBA action frames correspond to an unauthorized access pattern, an unauthorized access is detected. The potential unauthorized access may be detected by an access point (AP) or by the AP and a backend system. When a potential unauthorized access is detected, the AP may remain in silent mode for a longer period of time and limit access to the network to only trusted devices. In addition, an alarm or other notification of the potential unauthorized access may be provided to a user or other designated contact.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2021Date of Patent: June 27, 2023Assignee: AT&T Capital Services, Inc.Inventors: Plamen Vanchev, Bashar Abdul-Majeed

Patent number: 11449704Abstract: A multilevel clustered data set for multidimensional vectors is created by defining a plurality of clusters based on each of the signed dimensions of the vectors, each dimension functioning as an axis. Vectors are assigned to each cluster by measuring cosine similarity between a vector and each axis. Sub-clusters are defined as ranges of cosine similarity values within a cluster, and each vector is assigned into the appropriate range based on their cosine similarity value with the axis of the cluster. Searching for a matching vector to a new vector is efficiently achieved in near-constant time by measuring cosine similarity for the new vector with each axis to identify the closest cluster, reusing the cosine similarity of the new vector and axis to determine which sub-cluster corresponds to the appropriate range of values, and then comparing each vector within the sub-cluster until a match is found or ruled out.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2020Date of Patent: September 20, 2022Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Abhishek Seth, Devbrat Sharma, Mahendra Singh Kanyal, Muhammed Abdul Majeed Ameen, Soma Shekar Naganna

Publication number: 20220198083Abstract: In various embodiments, a grid-based design application automatically generates a design for a structural system of a building. In operation, the grid-based design application generates a structural grid based on a region within a computer-aided design of the building. Subsequently, the grid-based design application applies the structural grid to the region to generate a gridded region. The grid-based design application computes a set of spanning directions based on the gridded region. The grid-based design application then generates at least a portion of the design for the structural system based on the set of spanning directions and the gridded region.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2021Publication date: June 23, 2022Inventors: Konara Mudiyanselage Kosala BANDARA, Musabbir Abdul MAJEED, Jayamal Bandara Wijeratne Rajapakse Konara MUDIYANSELAGE
