  • Publication number: 20220209216
Abstract: A cathode active surface includes a conductive framework of tangled nanofibers with lumps of amorphous carbon-sulfur distributed within them. The amorphous carbon-sulfur lumps are of carbon bonded to sulfur via carbon-sulfur chemical bonds and to the nanofibers via chemical bonds. The strength of the chemical bonds secures sulfur atoms within electrode to suppress the formation of undesirable polysulfides when in contact with an electrolyte. The tangled nanofibers bind the amorphous carbon-sulfur lumps and enhance thermal and electrical conductivities.

Abstract: Processes herein may be used to thermally crack various hydrocarbon feeds, and may eliminate the refinery altogether while making the crude to chemicals process very flexible in terms of crude. In embodiments herein, crude is progressively separated into at least light and heavy fractions. Depending on the quality of the light and heavy fractions, these are routed to one of three upgrading operations, including a fixed bed hydroconversion unit, a fluidized catalytic conversion unit, or a residue hydrocracking unit that may utilize an ebullated bed reactor. Products from the upgrading operations may be used as feed to a steam cracker.

  • Publication number: 20210243223
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for computing or modeling the risk of a cyber security breach to an asset begins by gathering coverage information from network sensors, endpoint agents, and decoys related to the asset, as well as gathering importance information related to the asset, alerts and anomalies from an enterprise and vulnerability information related to the asset. From this, a threat-score is computed for the asset. Connections or coupling information is gathered between users and assets, users and data, and assets and data, which is fused to generate a 3-dimensional vector representation of coverage, importance, and threat-score of the assets, users and data. From this 3-dimensional vector, an asset risk score is computed to provide the asset risk score.

  • Publication number: 20210098114
Abstract: Surgical Image Processing and Reporting System (SIPORS) will be able to record the procedure along with transcribing the video into text through Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is built into the system by using cameras. Through this, the system will write operative reports for doctors by going through a Writing Module in the system. Post-surgery, the doctors will be able to review the report written by the system and make edits to it. Since this is an artificial intelligence system, it will be able to learn and save the new edits the doctor makes. It will not be necessary to make this same edit again. As of now, doctors are burdened and exhausted due to the several hours spent writing the operative report. Therefore, we invented this system that reduces the time it requires to write the report.
