    Abstract: The present invention provides a system that creates a report that includes complete sentences based on input values that reflect measured or observed patient conditions. The system creates a sentence or a portion of a sentence that describes the patient's condition by comparing the input values for one or more attributes to the default values for those attributes. The default values are pre-determined and are usually based on medical standards. By comparing the input values to the default values the system can generate highly descriptive text that describes the patient's condition in a narrative form.
