    Abstract: An extractor hood includes a housing with a fan disposed therein and an extraction opening for the entry of fumes into the extractor hood on the bottom of the extractor hood. The extractor hood has an air outlet gap on the top of the extractor hood in the edge region of the extractor hood. The air outlet gap is adjacent to a surface that is arched in the direction of the bottom of the extractor hood.
