  • Patent number: 8793818
Abstract: The WC has a toilet bowl and a flushing arrangement by means of which, in a flushing operation, the toilet bowl is supplied with water as a flushing stream in order to flush out the contents of the bowl and to clean the bowl surface. The flushing arrangement has means which, during a flushing operation, use water to clean the bowl surface in a transition region from the bowl to the siphon, the cleaning power of this water being directed specifically at this transition region.

  • Patent number: 8713722
Abstract: A flushing arrangement for a WC, comprising a toilet bowl which has an inlet and an outlet, there between a U-bend, and pulse generating elements for generating a pulse with which water which is present in the U-bend and forms an air trap is accelerated, for a flushing operation, in the direction of the outlet. The pulse generating elements are arranged in the U-bend and have a plurality of nozzles, or at least one annular gap extending in the circumferential direction of the U-bend. The nozzles or the at least one annular gap generate, in the water in each case, a flow which is directed substantially towards the outlet. The nozzles or the at least one annular gap are arranged directly upstream of an ascending region or in an ascending region of the U-bend.

  • Patent number: 8327472
Abstract: The flushing arrangement has a toilet bowl (2) which has an inlet (3) and an outlet (21) and, between these, means (8, 20) for generating a pulse. By means of the pulse, water (13) which is present in a U-bend (4) and forms a stench trap can be accelerated, for a flushing operation, in the direction of the outlet (21). Said means (8, 20) are arranged in the descending region of the toilet bowl (2) and, during flushing, generate a downwardly directed flow cone (14, 14?). The flow narrows downwardly and at a saddle point (26) forms a wall jet (28) which cleans the U-bend (4) particularly thoroughly.

  • Publication number: 20100242163
Abstract: The flushing arrangement has a toilet bowl (2) which has an inlet (3) and an outlet (18) and between these, in a U-bend (4), means (12) for generating a pulse. With these means (12), water which is present in the U-bend (4) and forms an air trap can be accelerated, for a flushing operation, in the direction of the outlet (18). The means (12) for generating a pulse have a plurality of nozzles (12, 12?) or at least one annular gap (19) extending in the circumferential direction of the U-bend (4), and these nozzles or this annular gap can be used to generate, in the aforementioned water (13) in each case, a flow which is directed substantially towards the outlet (18). The plurality of nozzles or the at least one annular gap can be used to generate a significantly higher pulse density than has been the case hitherto.

  • Patent number: 7272864
Abstract: The flushing flow distributor has a first channel (21) which is to be connected to a discharge (45) of the flushing cistern (4), and a second and a third channel (24, 25, 69). The second channel (24) and the third channel (25) are in each case to be connected to a toilet bowl (10). The first channel (21) has a nozzle (17, 18, 19, 55, 62) which outputs the water to the two other channels (24, 25, 69). The nozzle (17, 18, 19, 55, 62) is preferably designed as a free jet nozzle. The flushing flow distributor is preferably designed as a pipe interrupter. It is preferably used on a pressurized flushing cistern (4) and permits flushing with less flushing water while at the same time requiring less space and with a flushing action which is at least ample.
