  • Publication number: 20170353030
Abstract: A system includes a load balancing unit configured to distribute power from a plurality of AC power sources to a plurality of loads. The system further includes a monitoring unit configured to monitor an energy consumption from each AC power source and a power consumption of each load. The system further includes a user interface configured to receive a user preference. The system also includes a controller configured to determine a QoS parameter for each AC power source and regulate, by the load balancing unit, the distribution of power from the plurality of AC power sources to the plurality of loads based on the energy consumption from each AC power source, a power rating of each load, the QoS parameter of each AC power source, a tariff rate of each AC power source and the user preference.

  • Patent number: 9609453
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for controlling execution of multimedia data. One or more information blocks of multimedia data including audio sounds are determined. Also, one or more frequency differences in the audio sounds for each of the one or more information blocks of the audio data is determined. The control of the execution of the multimedia data is based, at least in part on, a comparison of the one or more frequency differences to one or more prestored frequency values.

  • Patent number: 9246888
Abstract: A system and method for secure data transmission over an unsecured communication channel by means of public key cryptography is disclosed. A plurality of digital certificates associated with a plurality of user devices within a peer network are maintained at each of the user devices in a certificate database. Each user device is assigned with a secure hardware token. The hardware token stores a private key and a local encryption key associated with the corresponding device. In order to transfer data between a first user device and a second user device, a public key of second user device stored in the certificate database is used to encrypt a data to be transferred from a first user device to the second user device within the peer network. At the second user device, the encrypted data is decrypted using a private key associated with the second user device to retrieve the data.
