Abstract: A curtain rod assembly includes a longitudinally adjustable retaining member the length of which can be changed to fit the width between parallel spaced apart side members of windows of different sizes. The retaining member has tubular parts that are telescopically assembled to one another and a bracket at each end thereof. The brackets have a first portion that extends radially outward of the retaining member and a second portion that extends axially to support a curtain rod above the window with the outer ends spaced apart wider than the window frame.

Abstract: A method of tracking a child at least when the child is away from a pre-selected area. The method comprising the steps of attaching a transmitter to at least one of a pre-selected item of clothing and a pre-selected body part. Transmitting a continuous signal from such transmitter to a receiver for picking up the signal. Monitoring the receiver on a substantially continuous basis. Such monitoring occurring at least one of in a pre-selected area and all areas. Immediately notifying at least one of the police and parents when an emergency situation occurs and thereafter responding to such notification of the emergency situation.

Abstract: A pot holder for use with posts including a pot portion having a generally cylindrical configuration. The pot portion has an open upper end, a closed lower end, and a surrounding side wall therebetween. The pot portion has an elongated cylinder positioned centrally therein. The elongated cylinder has an open upper end positioned within the open upper end of the pot portion. The elongated cylinder has an open lower end extending through the closed lower end of the pot portion. The elongated cylinder is dimensioned for receiving the post therethrough.
