Patent number: 11934778Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for providing sentiment analysis of content. In order to determine the overall sentiment of content, a request is received by a sentiment analyzer, which then identifies a content identification number and retrieves comments associated with the content identification number. The sentiment analyzer pre-processes the comments, which includes removing all personal identifying information from the comments. The sentiment analyzer sends the pre-processed comments to a natural language processing service, and in turn, receives sentiment indications corresponding to the comments provided. Based on the sentiment scores, the sentiment analyzer generates a sentiment analysis and displays the sentiment analysis in the graphical user interface generated by the sentiment analyzer.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2021Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Intuit, Inc.Inventors: Harpreet Singh Hira, Abhay Dhundiraju Sastry, Priyadarshini Rajendran, Sanmathi Sathyanarayana Naga, Tak Yiu Daniel Li, Majo Paulose, Jasen Paul Stine, Darpan Sharma, Nicholas Allen McHenry

Patent number: 11893349Abstract: Systems and methods for generating phonetic spelling variations of a given word based on locale-specific pronunciations. A phoneme-letter density model may be configured to identify a phoneme sequence corresponding to an input word, and to identify all character sequences that may correspond to an input phoneme sequence and their respective probabilities. The phoneme-phoneme error model may be configured to identify locale-specific alternative phoneme sequences that may correspond to a given phoneme sequence, and their respective probabilities. Using these two models, a processing system may be configured to generate, for a given input word, a list of alternative character sequences that may correspond to the input word based on locale-specific pronunciations, and/or a probability distribution representing how likely each alternative character sequence is to correspond to the input word.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2022Date of Patent: February 6, 2024Assignee: Google LLCInventors: Abhirut Gupta, Aravindan Raghuveer, Abhay Sharma, Nitin Raut, Manish Kumar

Patent number: 8300697Abstract: The proposed Dynamic Motion Vector Analysis method applies to the motion compensation module of a video decoder system. The method analyzes the motion-vectors of a given region of picture frame and outputs a set of regions to be fetched from the reference frames stored in the external memory. The size and number of regions are decided by a hierarchical method that uses a set of user-defined input thresholds. Pre-processing of the motion vectors associated with the given region allows the method to handle reference data to be fetched from multiple reference frames in the same framework. A complementary dynamic batch (region of operation) size strategy that works along with MV-analysis is also proposed to help utilize the on-chip memory resources more efficiently.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2008Date of Patent: October 30, 2012Assignee: Allgo Embedded Systems Private Limited.Inventors: Sachin Sudhakar Farfade, Satendra Pal Singh, Kiran Rajaram, Abhay Sharma

Patent number: 7336699Abstract: A system and method are provided for determining whether a chipping code from a group of codes is used in a signal. In one embodiment of the invention, a signal is received and each code from the group is correlated with the received signal. The ratio of the highest correlation value to the second highest correlation value is calculated. If the ratio exceeds a threshold, the chipping code may be determined as the chipping code used in the signal. In another embodiment, the ratio of the highest correlation value and the total received power of the signal is calculated. If the ratio exceeds a threshold, the chipping code may be determined as the chipping code used in the signal.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2003Date of Patent: February 26, 2008Assignee: Analog Devices, Inc.Inventors: Deepak Mathew, Aiguo Yan, Zoran Zvonar, Abhay Sharma

Patent number: 7277474Abstract: A technique for allocating fingers in a path searcher of a multipath receiver involves determining a required number of fingers for each multipath region, determining a number of allocated fingers for each multipath region according to an area-based weighting scheme such that each multipath region that is allocated fewer than its required number of fingers is deemed to have a non-zero residual area, allocating any surplus fingers to multipath regions having non-zero residual areas until either no surplus fingers remain or each multipath region is allocated its required number of fingers, and placing any fingers allocated to each multipath region within the multipath region. Placing the fingers in un-resolvable path scenario involves detecting path location at the edges of multipath region; placing fingers at the edges and placing remaining fingers uniformly between the first and the last path such that the there is a minimum placement separation between the fingers.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2003Date of Patent: October 2, 2007Assignee: Analog Devices, Inc.Inventors: Abhay Sharma, Zoran Zvonar, Deepak Mathew, Aiguo Yan
