  • Patent number: 11996830
Abstract: One example described herein includes a power switch control system. The system includes a first monitoring terminal coupled to a first terminal of a power transistor and a second monitoring terminal coupled to a second terminal of the power transistor. The power transistor and the power switch control system can form an ideal diode between the first monitoring terminal arranged as an anode and the second monitoring terminal arranged as a cathode. The system further includes a reverse current controller coupled to the first monitoring terminal and the second monitoring terminal and is configured to control activation of the power transistor to conduct a reverse current from the second monitoring terminal to the first monitoring terminal in response to a reverse voltage arranged as a cathode voltage at the second monitoring terminal being greater than an anode voltage at the first monitoring terminal.

  • Patent number: 11206036
Abstract: An integrated self-test mechanism for monitoring an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a reference voltage (Vref) source associated with the ADC, a low-dropout regulator (LDO), or a power supply is provided. In one example, an ADC that is associated with an integrated circuit (IC) can monitor its own Vref, the voltage (VLBO) of an LDO associated with the IC, or the voltage (AVDD) provided to an electrical coupling mechanism in the IC that is coupled to a power supply associated with the IC. The ADC can generate a digital output code based, at least in part, on the Vref and one or more of the VLBO and the AVDD. The digital output code can be used to determine whether one or more of the ADC, the Vref source, the LDO, and the power supply is malfunctioning or nonoperational.

  • Patent number: 9738339
Abstract: A two-wheel vehicle includes a frame and a metallic side stand, rotatable within a bracket attached to the frame. The metallic side stand is rotatable between a first position that supports the two-wheel vehicle when parked and a second position substantially adjacent the frame. The two-wheel vehicle also includes an inductive sensor attached to the two-wheel vehicle and connected to detect at least one position of the metallic side stand and a circuit connected to receive an output from the inductive sensor and to provide a signal that reflects the position of the side stand.
